Mowgli are bringing their Indian street food to London

Mowgli are bringing their Indian street food to London

They've already opened across the country, after starting in Liverpool, and now Mowgli is getting ready to open in London.

Billed as "Indian street food", Mowgli has taken over what used to be the Cote brasserie on Charlotte Street. It's run by former barrister Nisha Katona.

There's a huge selection of dishes on offer, including:

  • Gunpowder Chicken - Mowgli’s chicken poppers, ginger, garlic, garam masala & golden fried in a chickpea batter
  • Tea Steeped Chickpeas - Chickpeas simmered in a rich Darjeeling spiced tomato & spinach sauce.
  • House Chicken Curry - A Kerelan curry simmered with fragrant curry leaves, coconut milk & ground almonds.
  • Mowgli House Keema - Ground lamb, roast cumin, cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon, peas, tomatoes & pulses

In addition, you'll find a separate vegan menu and a gluten-free one too, so this restaurant is pretty good at catering for everyone. We'll have more info closer to the opening date.
