This probably won't come as news to anyone who lives in Croydon, but we've only just got wind of what sounds like a takeaway worth crossing town for.
Back when dining in was hit on the head by lockdown, Spice Village decided that they'd find another way to bring their Pakistani food to customers. And so they came up with what looks to be London's poshest in-car dining experience.
Their Drive-Thru Eat-in Car service features special trays designed by the restaurant so you can eat and drink comfortably in your car. The menu includes everything from mixed Grills and masala fish to papdi Chat, Panipuri plus a range of mocktails - no drinking and driving being encouraged here.
Six cars can enjoy the in-car service at any one time. Slots are an hour and you're encouraged to pre-book. There's even background music on in the car park to complete the experience.
