Korean fried chicken Pelicana is coming to London

Korean fried chicken Pelicana is coming to London

News reaches us of another big fast-food chain making inroads in London - and the first branch is opening this week.

Pelicana is pretty big elsewhere, with over 3000 branches selling their Korean fried chicken. The first UK restaurant is landing at Hammersmith Broadway shopping centre followed soon after by Angel (June), Wimbledon (July) and Clapham Junction (September).

Looking at menus from elsewhere, you can expect wings (whole or boneless) with a huge range of options including soy sauce, wasabi, honey butter, garlic and their own Pelicana marinated spice. You can also build your own bun or wrap and there are extras like Classic Tteeok Bokki (Korean rice cakes, fish cake, cabbage, onion and ramen in a Korean style spicy sauce), Kimchi Soup and Mandu Fish Cake. Alongside all that are loaded fries, beef bulgogi and more.

We'll have to wait a few more days to see what's on the menu in the UK, though.
