Over the course of the various lockdowns, we've had some interesting deliveries, innovative meal kit ideas and quality collaborations. But honestly this might be the best yet.
Black Axe Mangal hasn't opened at all since the very first lockdown - so far their only appearing has been with a pie. So news that it's launching a collab with BAO strikes us as a red-letter day.
The kit (which goes on sale at 9am today) features a Reuben BAO Made-By-You Kit. They say they've taken inspiration from the BAM menu, Brick Lane's Beigel Bake and the reuben sandwich generally.
There are just 500 kits in total - each costs £50 and serves two) which will include
- The kit itself - 6 BAOs with a filling of Ox Tongue, Rarebit, Sauerkraut, Frenchie’s Mustard, Dill Pickled Cucumber, and Spicy Crispy Shallots.
- 1 BAO x BAM Long Sleeve T-Shirt (Black, Large only)
- 2 Taiwanese Beers
Forget work this morning, you'd better be poised to grab a kit the minute they go on sale.
