Last summer, GBM judge Andi Oliver joined forces with another TV face, First Dates' Fred Sirieix for her Wadadli One Love pop-up in Clapton. The residency was a celebration of Oliver's Caribbean and British heritage.
Now she's brought the kitchen team together again to offer Londoners a Caribbean feasting style delivery experience. “People can't come to visit us, so we have decided to send the love and vibes to them directly in a box," says Andi, "The full Wadadli experience from our family to yours!"
There's a Nyam It All box with wings finished in an orange, ginger and chilli finishing syrup and the Ital vegan box where the main is a ginger crispy aubergine with golden tamarind tofu.
Both boxes have turmeric fries, sweet potato roti, coco bread and fried plantain. There'll also be scotch bonnet & turmeric salt, Evsovitch Pickle, Green Slaw and Andi's specially blended hot sauce.
For those of you concerned about the eco-credentials of delivery boxes, they say they're "working to become 100% recyclable" - the majority of their packaging is recyclable and commercially compostable materials for packing have been sourced and used where possible.
