The latest lockdown has meant pivot #2508 for North London pub The Red Lion & Sun. Following the news that pubs and cafes wouldn't be allowed to sell wine and beer to takeaway, the Highgate establishment has been forced to find a new use for its popular Bottle & Jug shed.
So, from this week they'll be opening as a Crêperie. If you're in the neighbourhood and want to help this local business, they'll be selling sweet and savoury crêpes from the shed from Tuesday to Sundays from 11am to 6pm. There'll also be cold-pressed juices and hot chocolate on sale too.
The good news is that while they can't sell booze to customers in person, they have also extended the delivery area for their wine shop - check out what's on offer here.
