They're already delivering Hawksmoor at Home boxes nationwide and have a pretty excellent selection of at-home cocktails - and now Hawksmoor is taking the next delivery step, launching Hawksmoor at Home Local.
While the previous boxes have been primarily supplying everything you need to cook a Hawksmoor meal yourself - this puts the hard work back in the hands of the chefs at the restaurants and means a much bigger menu too. You'll have to order a day in advance, and you'll have access to dishes like:
- Old Spot belly ribs with vinegar slaw
- Roast scallops with white port & garlic
- Bone marrow with onions & sourdough
- Potted beef & bacon with Yorkshire puddings & onion gravy
- Whole or half native lobster with garlic butter
That's alongside steaks, of course, with rib-eye, T-Bone, rump, chateaubriand, fillet and porterhouse to choose from. There are also sides like macaroni cheese, maple bacon, oven chips, mash and gravy and creamed spinach.
Puddings include their amazing sticky toffee pudding and - most importantly by far (at least for us) - a pack of eight of their Salted Caramel Tributes (not Rolos, honest). Their cocktails and wine are on the menu too.
The whole thing is finish-at-home so there will just be a little work left for you to get it on the table. All in all, if you've been itching for a proper Hawksmoor feast - this sounds like it will definitely do the trick.
