Before the main restaurant returned after the lockdown, Flor's head chef Pamela Yung tried something new, ASAP pizza, their own take on a pizzeria with a heavy focus on quality produce and heritage British wheats. It was, as you'd imagine, rather successful - so much so that it's coming back every Sunday.
It'll be the first time that Flor opens on a Sunday and the whole menu will be an ASAP Pizza takeover. Each Sunday will be something of a team-up, the first with the great Natoora, with produce from their farm and a focus on British cheeses. On the menu will be:
- The "Spice Grrl" with tomato and 'nduja sauce, caciocavallo, honey, sicilian oregano
- Marg & Rita" with tomato sauce, mozzarella, basil, and spenwood
- And desserts may include tiramisu and seasonal, weekly changing soft serve, such as a swirl of green meyer lemon sherbet and tahini ice cream.
So if you missed this pizza pop up during the summer, you'll want to make sure you get down to Flor on any Sunday in the run-up to Christmas.
