It was one of the first big London stores to reopen its food department, and now Selfridges is getting in on the street market act. They're taking over the mews behind the Oxford Street store at weekends to create Market on the Mews.
The market will be what they're calling "a rotating edit of food, drink, magazines, plants, flowers bikes and furniture." It'll see the store take over Edwards Mews with a range of yellow stalls. You'll be able to get your caffeine fix from Assembly Coffee, have a cone from Darlish Ice Cream and even a drink from Two Tribes brewery.
Selfridges will be selling bakery items, along with items handy for taking on picnics, and there will be new pop-ups launching all the time.
If social distancing issues concern you, you'll be glad to know that there'll be just 16 customers allowed in the market at any one time, with a one-way system in place along with all manner of other safety measures.
