First we had Coqfighter opening a beef burger space, Good Burger. Then we had Honest Burgers moving into the chicken space with Honest Chicken. Now a third restaurant group has announced a sideways step.
Patty & Bun have just opened their delivery spot Sidechick. Here it's all about butterflied and marinated roast chicken. The birds in question are corn-fed and come from top butcher HG Walter. Choose from a half or whole chicken with a choice of three marinades:
- Za’atar, Garlic, Honey, Olive Oil & Lemon
- Clarified Butter, Herbs & Lemon
- Piri Piri
The sides sound banging too with options like smoky aubergine with tomato compote, labneh, mint, coriander, breadcrumbs and Pecorino or butter lettuce with dill and miso vinaigrette.
For drinks, pick from a selection of beers like Forest Road or Two Tribes and wines from St John.
In addition to the kitchen in London Fields, they're also planning to open a Sidechick pop-up on Kingly Street.
