Now that we're practically in summer it'd be nice to be thinking about heading to a food festival over the coming months. Well now, as part of the new normal, in addition to perusing our Staying In section for delivery inspiration, you can still attend that food festival.
Following the success of the first one that they ran last night, the folk at Rick Stein are holding another Virtual Food Festival this coming Sunday.
Streamed live on YouTube, the chef line-up includes: Rick Stein, Nathan Outlaw, Gizzi Erskine, Sophie Michell and Mark Hix. There'll be live demos from chefs every hour during the day.
Jack Stein, Chef Director at Rick Stein restaurants, comments “We’re so grateful to these amazing chefs for getting involved... Our aim is simple, we want to showcase the wonderful food and drink we’d usually use in our restaurants that is now available for consumers to enjoy straight from the suppliers. We’re also raising money for the National Emergencies Trust Appeal and St Petrocs Homeless Society in Cornwall."
While watching the festival is free, there is the chance to book a VIP 'front row' ticket which allows you the chance to message the chefs during the festival.
