More and more restaurants are going delivery-only during the lockdown, but we haven't seen quite as many vegan restaurants make the move, so far. One that is shifting is souvlaki merchant, The Athenian. They're launching a whole new delivery service on Deliveroo called Athenian Plant-Based (really on-the-nose with the naming).
On the menu, they'll have, available as a wrap or in a box:
- Signature Vegan Gyros
- Tomato Croquettes Souvlaki
- Courgette Fritters Souvlaki
- THIS isn't Chicken Nuggets Souvlaki
Plus sides that include oregano fries, greek salad (without feta), sweet potato fries, loaded fries with vegan gyros, this isn't chicken nuggets, tomato croquettes, courgette fritters and vegan brownies.
They launch on 21 April on all the delivery areas that The Athenian currently supports - from White City, Victoria, Battersea and Canary Wharf. For more, check out their website.
