Carnaby's going through a bit of a revamp at the moment - which means new restaurants are on the way. We've already heard about Dishoom and Shotgun - and now they're being joined by Dirty Bones.
Dirty Bones has been open in Kensington for a year and a half and at the end of the summer, they're opening in Carnaby and bringing their dirty food menu (aka American "comfort food") with them. So expect pork and beef ribs, crispy chicken and waffles, lots of dogs, the Mac Daddy (a burger with mac n cheese and beef short rib) chicken wings and more.
Plus - there will be a new weekend brunch menu - on that is:
- The Benedict Burger (6oz house burger, topped with poached egg and black treacle bacon, smothered in Dirty Bones hollandaise sauce)
- Steak & Eggs (30 day aged chargrilled flat iron steak and two free range fried eggs)
- Cheesy scrambled egg (smoked guacamole, slow roast tomato waffle, wild garlic crème fraiche).
Plus, there will be plenty of bespoke cocktails at the bar, including Dirty Mary (Finlandia vodka, tomato, orange, lemon and pickle juice, fresh mint, chilli sauce and a sour cream Pringle rim).
Dirty Bones opens on the top floor, Kingly Court, Carnaby Street, London W1B 5PW on 28 September. For more, follow them on Twitter @dirtybonesldn
