Angela Hartnett and Mark Sargeant announce one-nighters at Covent Garden's Canteen

canteencoventgardenThe temporary Canteen restaurant in Covent Garden market has just announced the details of three guest chefs who'll be cooking one-off meals there in December.

Angela Hartnett will team up with The Whitechapel Gallery Dining Room's Emma Duggan on the 1 December, Mark Sargeant will be there on the 8th December to showcase the 'feasting and grill' menus that Canteen will be launching next year and Neil Borthwick (sous chef at The Square) will be cooking on the 15th December.

Angela's menu will feature Rare Roast Rib of Longhorn Beef, Dauphinoise potato, cavolo nero, thyme jus and horseradish cream, Baked vanilla rice pudding. Neil's menu will include lightly curried smoked haddock soup with Cornish crab muffin, Loin of Venison with chestnut spaetzle, cabbage and pickled pear.
