The Savoy's River Room has reopened as this new seafood restaurant, completely revamping the menu to include delights like smoked salmon sausages. The design has also had an overhaul from the same person who worked on Limewood and The Wolseley.

"I order the smoked-salmon sausages because I am doing everything the waiter tells me — they are a Kaspar’s special. They arrive on a little throne of sauerkraut: two pink, glistening condoms filled with minced fish. They are the most revolting thing I’ve eaten outside a nursing home — exactly what a cat would love." READ REVIEW

"Wiener schnitzel, which I assume will be in seasoned crumbs, is coated in batter and lies on the plate like a carpet tile after a flood. The chosen side dish of Savoy cabbage with double-smoked bacon is a grace but not finally a saving grace."
