A new 28:50 wine bar could be coming to Covent Garden

News reaches us from Big Hospitality this morning that a brand new 28:50 is getting ready to launch in Covent Garden. The wine bar started off in Fetter Lane and grew to three different sites over the years, but right now only the Marylebone wine bar remains. The bar was previously launched by Xavier Rousset, but he left to open Blandford Comptoir and Comptoir Cafe.

Burger and Lobster pimp up their lobster roll with Champagne sauce

 

Burger and lobster are getting into the Seafood Week spirit with their latest launch. Feeling that a lobster roll alone wasn't quite enough, they've decided to pimp it up with Champagne. So their new special is a lobster roll covered in a Champagne butter sauce. 

The whole thing (including fries) costs £25 and is available at all UK Burger and Lobsters now.
