Blacklock at Home is your chance to recreate the Blacklock experience (if you can get your hands on it)

it sold out in 10 minutes last week and the same this week - before we could even write up a story. But it's still worth letting you know that Blacklock at Home is back - and that you should get yourself ready to order in when the next batch is available (every Monday).

In case you missed the news, this is your opportunity to re-create the Blacklock experience in your own home. Together wit…

Hackney now has a roving pub service serving freshly poured pints

Despite the Prime Minister talking about a potential July opening for some hospitality businesses, most people suspect that pubs - particularly those without big beer gardens - will be among the last places to emerge from lockdown. That's a long time to wait for a pint. Which is why East London's Forest Road Brewing Company has come up with an idea.

Their mobile pub will bring you a freshly poure…

Little Duck Home Kitchen is the home version of The Picklery in Dalston

The Dalston restaurant, from the people behind Ducksoup and Rawduck, have lau…

London's bars and restaurants won't open before July (but they're still delivering)

Like pretty much the whole country, those working in the London hospitality industry tuned into the Prime Minister's broadcast tonight, to see if there was a sign of when restaurants and bars might be open.

And it does look as though there's a light, however flickery and faint, at the end of the tunnel. Outlining the new Covid alert system, Boris explained that if deaths and infection cases…

Corbin & King look to help staff by giving them 50% of all voucher sales

Jeremy King is known for sending out irregular missives, with updates on the business, thoughts on Brexit (spoiler - not positive) and more besides.

Earlier this week, his latest email talked about the difficulty their staff are having with significantly reduced wages. Put simply, the service charge pool (aka the "tronc") is not included in the government furlough scheme, so many staff who worked…

American chain The Cheesecake Factory is coming to London - here's what you need to know about it

1. It's bringing its desserts, but not its restaurants to London.

At the moment, this isn't a fully-fledged invasion. But the chain is sending us its super calorific desserts to be sold at UK restaurant group Creams. Sadly, that means we're not going to see what Eater describes as its "ancient-Egypt-meets-Vegas-Strip vibe" restaurants here anytime soon.

2. Those desserts are insane

To begin…
