Summing it all up: Tobacco Dock is home to the latest themed rooftop bar and restaurant, thanks to Skylight, who’ll be providing street food, cocktails and plenty of traditional lawn games.
The low-down
If you love nothing more than a spot of croquet, ideally with a spritz in hand, then you’ll want to be planning a visit to Skylight, a new rooftop bar in Wapping.
Themed around British lawn clubs and garden parties, the new spot will be found on top of a former carpark at Tobacco Dock, and boast not one but three croquet lawns, two petanque courts, street food stalls and multiple bars, capable of hosting up to 600.
Some of the food and drink vendors you can expect include burgers from East London’s We Serve Humans (pictured here), and Greek fare from Yiro who’ll have souvlaki and more. Pitchers will be available alongside spritz cocktails, ciders.
You’ll be able to quaff your beverage of choice with croquet stick in hand, all while enjoying suitably spectacular rooftop views across London.
