For two days, Shake Shack are expanding their collaboration with St John to put on a smoked eel burger. The only problem is you'll need to hop on a plane to NYC to try it.
The burger, which will be on sale on Friday and Saturday and costs $9.99, features a smoked eel burger topped with smoked Niman Ranch bacon, pickled red onion, crème fraiche, fresh horseradish and watercress. According to Fergus Henderson the burger's "a gentle soul... delivering everything a good burger should."
NYC Shake Shack fans will also be able to try the famous St John doughnuts and, for the duration of the two day event, white and red wines from St John's own line.
