Sambal Shiok have been a highlight of many a street food market and now they're venturing indoors next month, joining up with Zeren Wilson (aka Bitten & Written) on the wine front for a series of Saturday pop-ups.
And for the first time they're indulging in a much requested dish, laksa, for what they're calling Laksa Nights. They say it will be "strong in aromatics, like lemongrass and laksa leaf, as well as having deep umami from shrimp paste and a fresh chilli sambal created exclusively for Laksa Nights."
That'll all be paired with Rieslings made by winemakers including Sybille Kuntz (Mosel, Germany), and Rolly Gassmann (Alsace, France) by the glass or bottle with their full strength curry laksa (£10).
