Interesting hire in West London as Paradise By Way of Kensal Green gets an ex-Petersham Nurseries Chef to head up its kitchen. Cat Ashton took over as Head Chef at Petersham for a year following Skye Gyngell's departure. She'll be bringing her take to the menu for the 100-cover newly refurbished dining room here as well as the bar food menu with snacks like hummus with hazelnut dukkah pitta and raw veg and cod croquettes with caper and lemon mayo.

Expect to see dishes like:

  • Stinging nettle and ricotta ravioli with Sicilian olive oil
  • Baby monkfish wrapped in prosciutto, pearl barley risotto with wild garlic & spinach
  • Slow roast lamb shoulder with parsnip puree, Swiss chard & red wine jus
  • Pressed chocolate cake with honeycomb and crème fraiche
