It's good news for North Londoners today as JKS Restaurants (the family behind Gymkhana and Trishna, among others) has just said it'll be opening two new Motu Indian Kitchen sites this autumn, in Islington on October 17th and Swiss Cottage on November 3rd. That brings what they term their 'refined' versions of Indian takeaway classics to area ranging from Camden and Holloway to Hamstead and Finchley Road.
Both sites of the delivery-only service will feature dishes that are exclusive to their areas, so Motu Swiss Cottage site will have a few Indo-Chinese specials including Chilli Chicken and Keema Masala Egg Fried Rice while Islington will go down the street food route with Lamb Shammi Bun Kebab’ and Aloo Tikki Bun Kebab. That latter dish will feature a spicy patty with green chutney and tamarind sauce, topped with a masala omelette, fried onions and chat masala, all served in a toasted bun. You can close your mouth now.
