Meatballs from Capish pop-up at the Hat & Tun in Farringdon

Capish

Farringdon's Hat & Tun is getting a new residency as street food trader Capish are heading inside for two weeks in February. You'll be able to try their meatballs in much warmer surroundings including:

  • Meatball Hero – Rare breed pork balls in marinara sauce on a toasted polenta sub, with provolone cheese sauce and  and grated pecorino roman and a pot of home made jalapeno sauce (£7)
  • Steak ‘Braciole’ Sandwich - 45 day dry aged steak stuffed with pecorino, parsley and chilli, slow cooked in a Genovese style sauce and served  with bone marrow aioli, melted taleggio cheese and pickled red onions on a buttermilk roll (£8.50)
  • Deep Fried Lasagne Roll - Filled with short rib ragu, béchamel and mozzarella(£5)

That steak sandwich really does sound AMAZING. So if you fancy some of that - head down to the Hat & Tun for two weeks from 17 Feb.

Capish are popping up at the Hat & Tun at 3 Hatton Wall, London EC1N 8HX from 17 - 19 February and 24 - 26 February. For a preview, follow them on Twitter @capishfood
