Marylebone's Hippy Fish lets you tuck into premium black caviar and lobster poke

Marylebone's Hippy Fish lets you tuck into premium black caviar and lobster poke

What: Hippy Fish

In a nutshell: Premium poke in Marylebone

Summing it all up: Hippy Fish will let you create your perfect poke bowl from a selection of upmarket ingredients, or select a pre-made bowl like their premium lobster and black caviar.

The low-down

Detoxifying black rice, black caviar and a sustainable fish brought in from around the world - say hello to Hippy Fish, Marylebone's new upmarket poke vendor.

The menu boasts a ‘hippy’ philosophy, which in Marylebone terms means a menu with an ingredient list that’s rife with adjectives like 'antioxidant-rich', 'organic' and 'ethically sourced', all cooked up and served a beach-hut style interior.

The main draw here will be their super customisable poke bowls. You’ll be able to mix and match your perfect bowl choosing from a bed of brown, white or black rice, quinoa or greens, and their vast array of protein options from salmon to tofu and even poached chicken. Then you'll top it all off with fresh veg including nori edamame, ginger, beetroot, and a house dressing like Wasabi Ponzu or Miso Tahini. And if you’re feeling extra snazzy, finish with some crunchy toppings including crispy shallots, wasabi peas or the intriguing wonton crisps.

If you’re in a hurry though, then you can go for a pre-mixed bowl like their Pacific with tuna sashimi and shaved coconut, or one of their seasonally rotating Limited Edition bowls - which is where you’re likely to find their premium Lobster and Black Caviar combo.

Finally, no prizes for guessing there’ll be an array of cleansing cold press juices and coconut waters on offer to help you wash it all down, and send you back out into the world (we assume) glowing from head to toe.
