Gillray's have supersized the Yorkshire pudding and we're all for it

Whether it's the cold weather or our general need for carbs, London has currently got a bit of pash for Yorkshire puddings. Last week we reported on a new Liverpool Street pub doing bottomless yorkies - now a riverside restaurant is supersizing them.

Gillray's over at the London Marriott Hotel County Hall has always been a place serving up British classics. But the dish of note on their new a la carte menu is the monstrous Yorkshire Pudding Club. It features O’Shea’s sirloin steak with tomato chutney and bacon jam wrapped in a massive Yorkshire pudding. And a fried egg, if the picture they've sent us is anything to go by.

If that wasn't enough on its own to make you try it, for Yorkshire Pudding Day - yes there apparently is one on 4th February - Gillray’s are offering diners 50% off that pudding for the day. Head to their Facebook page for more details on how to get that deal.
