Future Cinema are back with Casablanca and food by Moro

casablanca future cinemaThe imersive experience Future Cinema is back and this time they're bringing to life the world of the iconic romance Casablanca at The Troxy in Limehouse. Having previously teamed up with St John, they're now teaming up with Exmouth Market's Moro for the food for this adventure.

From 14 February until 3 March, The Troxy will be transformed into Rick’s Café Americain. Guests will be invited to step inside, gather around Sam’s piano and join in the chorus of the Marseillaise, then dance to Benoit Viellefon and his orchestra.

If all that makes you work up an appetite, you can then have dinner at The Blue Parrot Café, one of the most recognisable venues from the film. Dishes will include chicken tagine with preserved lemon and olives, vegetable couscous with sweet onions, raisins and harissa and sweet Moroccan pastries served with mint tea.

It'll be "an opportunity to re-live the Casablanca story as never before through sights, smells and tastes," says Moro's Samantha Clark.

Applications for identity papers are being accepted at www.futurecinema.co.uk/tickets. Tickets are £25, £20 for concessions and £15 for children (matinees only). There are only three dates still free as we write this, so get booking!
