You know it's not all tasting menus and wine pairing here at Hot Dinners HQ. We'd be lying if we didn't admit to being just as partial as the next person to a cheeky Nando's. So it's only to be expected that our timeline totally blew up today with the news that they're about to launch two new veggie dishes.
I mean, we're glad to hear that there's a veggie stew coming - Veggie Cataplana mixes chargrilled veggies with chickpeas and beans, in a hot tomato and coconut sauce with spicy rice and toasted coconut shavings on top.
But let's be honest, that's not why we really here. It's the fact that Nando's are bringing in halloumi fries that's got everyone going a bit crazy today. Halloumi Sticks & Dip will be chargrilled fries of squeaky cheese served with a pot of Nando’s sticky, sweet chilli jam for dipping,
The halloumi Sticks will be £3.70, and the Veggie Cataplana at £6.45. Both hit menus from 17 February 2018.
