Bompas and Parr are opening a jelly stall in Harrods

Known for all weird and wonderful installations, Bompas and Parr are going back to their roots with their next event at Harrods, which they're saying is the "world's biggest jelly stall".

On the stall will be all manner of jelly flavours, including:

  • Pistachio ribband blancmange;
  • Marbled coral with Johnnie Walker Gold Reserve whiskey and raspberry jelly cubes
  • Chartreuse and peach
  • Yellowgage plums and Harrods Riesling
  • Champagne with summer fruits and a violet elderflower set with fresh blueberries.

As for the moulds being used for the jelly, they come from the National Trust collections of collections of Castle Drogo, copied and 3D printed for use by the stall. For every jelly sold, they'll be donating 10p to the current restoration of Castle Drogo, one of Edward Lutyen's designs.

And all this has always been Bompas and Parr's dream: "We set up the company in 2007 with the explicit aim of having a jelly stall, but we totally failed, until now!" So this represents their dream come true.

The Bompas and Parr Jelly Parlour of Wonders launches at Harrods on 29 June at 87-135 Brompton Rd, London SW1X 7XL. For more, follow them on Twitter @Harrods and @BompasandParr.
