The huge Crossrail project is bringing with it lots of new stations and one of the biggest will be Crossrail Place in Canary Wharf - and that's where the next Big Easy is coming to, before they look at expanding across the UK.
They'll be taking over the top floor roof terrace of the new Norman Foster Cross Rail Terminal. As part of that, there will be loads of space for alfresco BBQ (and some great views over Canary Wharf). They'll also be adding an oyster and raw bar as well as private dining rooms for those city folk who fancy a BBQ party. There will be an open kitchen, charcoal and wood parrilla style grilling and what they're saying will be the biggest pit room in the UK - housing three two tonne US built smokers. Big Easy have been winning bar and wine awards of late, so expect plenty of focus on those too.
As for the look, they say it will be "reminiscent of a turn of the century dock-side warehouse with all the intrigue and excitement of goods shipped from Southern states of America and the rest of the world".
