Last year when Fay Maschler reviewed Acciuga on Kensington High Street, she described her and Reg's pasta dish as "the best pasta dish either of us has tasted in a long while". Well now Chef Patron Guglielmo Arnulfo is expanding his empire.
He's opening a wine bar in the City with Italian winemakers Rabezzana Vini. Enoteca Rabezzana will showcase all kinds of Italian food and drink. On the wine list will be almost 150 Italian red and white wines, sparkling wines, champagne and spirits as well as cocktails. There'll also be pasta and chocolate for sale.
"We will offer an Italian oeno-gastronomic experience second to none in the Capital," says Arnulfo. His menu in the 60 seat restaurant will be a mix of dishes from Acciuga such as his salmon carbonara and new ones created for the wine bar incuding a duck egg with white truffle.
Enoteca Rabezzana will open on Friday 5 December 2014 at 62-63 Long Lane, London EC1A 9EJ. Opening hours will be Monday to Wednesday from 11.30 am to 10.30 pm, and Thursday and Friday from 11.30 am to midnight. Keep up with their news on Twitter @RabezzanaLondon
