Former Garagistes chef takes over the kitchens at P Franco in Clapton

When the much-vaunted Tasmanian restaurant Garagistes announced it was closing in Spring this year, folk down under wondered where the respective members of the talented crew would end up. Co owner Katrina Birchmeier moved to NYC to open The Four Horsemen in Brookyn and now Head Chef William Gleave has tipped up in London.

All-day cafe, bar and kitchen Haunt opens in Stoke Newington

McDonalds trial their new signature burgers in London - we went to try them out

McDonalds are having a go with a new signature range of upmarket burgers and half of the places chosen nationwide to trial it are in London. The three burger collection was put together by the company's Chefs Council which apparently includes chefs who've worked for both Michelin starred restaurants and have cooked for international royalty.
