The countdown to Christmas is on and whether you're a Londoner or visitor, Carnaby is obviously the destination. The trick to successful Christmas shopping though is to find an area where, in just a handful of streets, you can find everything you need plus some great places to revive yourself.
And that's why Carnaby's the place to go. In just 14 streets you'll find leading brands and indie stores plus delicious places to eat and drink.
Christmas lights
You can always count on Carnaby's festive decorations to look amazing, and this year's are no different. Their Kaleidoscope installation features over 600 sparkling butterflies in collaboration with Carnaby's charity partner Choose Love. Wander down the side streets and you'll find spots like Ganton Street festooned in giant light bulbs - it's all incredibly Christmassy.
Food and drink hot spots
The best thing about this area is the eclectic and interesting selection of restaurants, pubs and cafés on offer. So if you need reviving mid-way through your shopping, or want to meet friends afterwards, Carnaby has a plethora of foodie hotspots. Lots of them will have special festive menus on over Christmas too.
Just a quick wander around the streets here reveals new sandwich pitstop Mamma Pastrama alongside popular pasta place Pastaio on Ganton Street. There's old favourite Polpo on Beak Street or you might want to swing by Rita's which only recently opened on Lexington.
Kingly Court
Just a few steps away from the busy streets you'll find this three-storey alfresco dining destination. Try the new Dirty Bones or head upstairs to Korean Dinner Party. There's also Imad's Syrian Kitchen, Whyte & Brown and vegan spot Club Mexicana to enjoy.
Nearby on Kingly Street pull up a stool at natural wine spot Bar Crispin, try Korean food from Jinjuu and enjoy Sri Lankan flavours at Kolamba. End the night with live music at Ain't Nothin' But or cocktails at Cahoots.
Newburgh Quarter
From traditional pubs like The White Horse to fun spots like Ugly Dumpling, the Newburgh Quarter mixes unique shops with character-filled places to eat and drink. Stock up on wine and cheese at Antidote, try the newly-opened Kanada Ya's ramen and look out for Zahter opening this winter from top Turkish chef Esra Muslu.
