We've talked before about how more restaurants that have made their name outside of town are opening in the capital - Six by Nico and Mowgli among others. Now here comes another, Doner Shack. They've opened in Leeds, Leicester, Glasgow and Edinburgh and next, it's the turn of Baker Street.
They seem to share some similarities to German Doner Kebab in that they're serving up "Berlin's favourite street food". So that's mainly their kebabs in doner (beef or turkey), chicken shawarma, chilli doner and many other options in between (including vegan), served in wraps or pitta. On top of that, there's something definitely more German at first sight - the currywurst with beef or turkey frankfurter. Or there are also chicken schnitzel bites and Kreuzberg Fries.
Will they be London's next big kebab thing? We'll have to see.
