The people behind Kensington's Latin American restaurant Zuaya and Como Garden, the Italian restaurant next door, are looking to Spain for inspiration for their next restaurant, El Norte. This time they're moving a little further afield, to Mayfair's Dover Street, and the restaurant will be focusing on Spain's northern regions.
Although opening before the end of the year, info is very thin on the ground at the moment (they don't appear to have a social account). What we know so far is that it'll be a high-end restaurant and that they'll have "a sharing-style menu of traditional Spanish dishes with a modern and luxury twist”. The owners, Alberto and Arian Zandi, were born in Madrid so it's a little closer to home than their previous restaurants. It'll have a separate bar too.
