They may be gearing up to opening their main restaurant in Soho, but that's not all we're getting from Rita's. Their sandwich offshoot Bodega Rita's is coming back too - this time opening in Clerkenwell.
There's a new menu of American-style subs that includes:
- The Tony - deli sub filled with pesto, prosciutto, spiced salami ventricina, smoked cheese, pickled salad and cheese dust
- King Banh Mi (vegan) - roasted oyster mushrooms, peanut butter, carrot and daikon pickle, coriander, mint, peanuts and pickled chilli
- The Second City - fennel roast pork belly and crackling, seasoned greens, high five spicy mayo, crispy shallots, parmesan pork dust and lemon oil, on a house hoagie roll.
They'll also have tacos, including the Suadero taco - confit shin of beef, once again topped with onions, coriander and lime. As for drinks - the list includes a "Dulce de Latte", house-made brown rice horchata and chipotle-choco mylk, beers. wines and more.
