With alfresco being once again a big thing in 2021, KERB are expanding their street food markets to a couple of new areas.
First up is KERB X National Theatre. where they'll be parking five food trucks from April until the end of summer. That will be kicking off with Biang Dang (Taiwanese lunchboxes), Lords of Poke, Milktree Gelato, Stakehaus (steak and fries) and Baba Dhaba (Pakistani food).
That's backed up by a bar with Gipsy Hill and East London Liquor serving up beer, cocktails and more. It all sounds like it'll be very handy if you're taking a stroll on the South Bank.
Then in May, there's the opening on Skylight Canalside on Tobacco Dock. KERB will be taking over the Quayside area and joining forces with the nearby rooftop venue Skylight. We're told to expect a beer-garden feel, with picnic tables, parasols, atmospheric lighting and bunting (see pic above) and garden games too.
The food will rotate as it usually does with KERB and kicking things off will be Fundi Pizza (Neapolitan style pizzas) and Tongue 'N Cheek (Italian inspired burgers & cheesesteak).
You can also book tables of six here, which will be very handy (and you can keep them for a 2 hour and 45 minute session). They'll also have an indoor bar that's kicking off later in May.
