This is VERY poor timing. As London spends its first evening in lockdown once again, one of our bars has just been named best in the world.
The Connaught Bar nabbed the top spot at the hugely competitive The World's 50 Best Bars 2020 which revealed its list today. It was a "deserving winner" said the judges "for the work that is put in and the level of artistry applied to the cocktail craft."
London was the best represented city in the list's Top 10 section, taking a total of three places. Here's that full Top 10.

But that's not all - we also got five more bars in the list as a whole. Their teams can't celebrate just yet, but we're sure there will be a virtual party going on right now.

Congratulations to the all the bars and teams involved. Now all we have to do is wait four more weeks before we can go back and raise a glass to their efforts.
