Next up on the home delivery front is popular Covent Garden restaurant Frenchie - who are kicking off delivery this weekend.
Most importantly, this means that you can order chef Greg Marchand's amazing bacon scones and have them delivered right to your door (three for £12) or the alternative goat's cheese scone, if you fancy.
Otherwise, it's a set menu affair with three courses - standard or vegetarian - and here's what's on the first £45 menu:
- Smoked ricotta, strawberry and peas salad with chives mayonnaise
- Herbs and brioche stuffed chicken breast, grilled green asparagus, roasted Jersey Royal potatoes and broad beans
- An alternative veg main: Gnocchi, grilled green asparagus, broad beans, Piemonte hazelnuts and herbs sauce
- Pistachio tart with raspberry coulis and meringue Allergens
There's a short selection of wines to go with that, and you can have their own beer sent over too.
They'll also be doing collection if you want to grab and go. That menu includes brioche buns filled with rotisserie chicken, parmesan, lettuce and anchovies along with BLT or ALT (avocado) sarnies and cookies. Plus you can also take away draft pints of Frenchie x Coalition brew, glasses of Oedoria Beaujolais Rosé and prosecco. And we rather like the nifty origami packaging, which opens out into plates. Clever!
