Well, this is a red-letter day for anyone who's been hankering after a Lardy Bun from Flor or the sourdough from Lyle's. We're still waiting to hear when they're returning from lockdown, but from today they'll be selling Flor pastries and the sourdough bread from Lyle's at Dalston's Snackbar.
Posting on their Instagram account, Snackbar founder Freddie said: "If you’ve ever had their bread and butter at Lyle’s, or those lardy buns from Flor, you’ll know this is worth coming in for tomorrow. No online sales for now."
If they're doing the brown butter cakes, then we'll be walking to Dalston to get them.
