Ever since we spotted her talking on Instagram about getting ready to do takeaways, we've been waiting for Angela Hartnett to release more details. In an email to customers today she finally revealed that she'll be doing a delivery service for Cafe Murano.
Using the group's latest restaurant to open - the one in Bermondsey - they'll be doing all manner of ready-made meals and fresh pasta both to collect or deliver.
On offer, there'll be make-your-own risotto and pasta kits, fresh pasta and sauces like spicy fennel and sausage or puttanesca. Fresh produce is also on sale so if you want some top-notch salami or Amalfi lemons this will be the place to come. There's also an enticing looking wine selection, including Angela's own-label wines.
As Angela says: "I will be in the kitchen every Thursday to Sunday cooking and packaging food for you to enjoy at home. Keep watching this space as we develop the range and add specials, it's very much still a work in progress!"
