The latest restaurant to move into the takeaway business has been Hackney's The Marksman. From yesterday, they started out with bacon and sausage baps, with roasts and pies too. And the aim is to continue that this coming week, adding provisions.
They're also launching a provisions service - offering a selection of fruit & veg boxes, which can also include eggs, butter, milk - as well as their black treacle sourdough. Alongside that, there will be a new "ready-to-cook" selection of buns, pies, stews and more that you can re-heat at home. The provisions service kicks off on 24 March and you'll order 24 hours in advance of your delivery.
All that and they'll have their bottled Bloody Marys and Negronis on the list too.
Obviously, social distancing rules remain in place, so if you do go out to collect a takeaway, make sure to stand 2m away from people, inside or outside a building.
