What: Patron Cave à Manger

In a nutshell: Bringing a slice of Paris to North London

Summing it all up: Popular Kentish Town brasserie Patron is expanding - they've picked Blackstock Road for their second site, serving up all manner of classic French wine and dishes.

The low-down

Great news for Highbury/Finsbury Park residents today - we have a new wine bar incoming. Patron Cave à Manger first opened in Kentish Town back in 2015 - quickly gathering a reputation among local foodies (Giles Coren included) for their bonhomie, super French wine and trad brasserie style food.

This morning they announced that their second restaurant would be opening next month on Blackstock Road. "We are very excited to be joining the small independent shops and local business owners in the vibrant heart of Blackstock Road."

They'll be taking over the Butler & Booth cafe on the corner of Blackstock and Gillespie Road and said they'll be serving "simple, honest, comfort, classic French food and wine."

We'll bring you more info on what's planned as we get it.
