In Fulham, we're liking the sound of new cocktails and small plates bar, Tipple & Taste, that's popping up above the Tommy Tucker Pub. Headed up by chef George Dyer, they'll be looking to pair the food you order with the right cocktail.
The menu (which will change regularly) sounds promising to start:
- Heritage Tomato | Watermelon | Basil | Sherry | Rocket | Mint | Vegan Feta
- Curried Wings | Pomegranate | Coconut Mint Riata | Poppadum Crumb
- Charred Mackerel Ceviche | Mackerel Crisp | Horseradish | Pickled Cucumber | Dill oil
- Burnt Miso Salmon | Cucumber | Radish | Soy Pak Choi
- Grilled Lamb | Garlic Scape | Salsa Verde | Pea | Asparagus Puree
- Rhubarb | Bay | Buttermilk | Sorrel Granita | Rye Crumble
- Chocolate Delice | Sesame | Peanut Brittle | Vegan Caramel Ice Cream
While on the drinks side, there's :
- Vanilla Rhubarb Pie - Served Over Crushed Ice
- Tropical Rum Sour - with Toasted Spiced Coconut, Pineapple & Lime
- Irish Dark Chocolate Espresso Martini - Guinness and Dark Chocolate with a Hint of Vanilla
- And in fighting talk - The ‘Perfect’ Negroni
On top of this, they'll have regular events with music and more planned.
