Galvin La Chapelle is AA Guide's Best London Restaurant

It's been a good year for Spitalfields restaurant Galvin La Chapelle. In May it was chosen as Tatler's Best Restaurant. In June it won best overall designed restaurant at the Restaurant & Bar Design Awards and Best New Restaurant from the Craft Guild of Chefs. Just two weeks ago it picked up Best Newcomer from the Zagat Guide. And just last night it won Best London Restaurant at the AA Hospitality Awards 2010. It's a 'a destination restaurant that truly delivers a “wow” factor' said the judges.

There was one other London winner at last night's ceremony. George Goring OBE, owner of the Goring Hotel, picked up the Lifetime Achievement Award for his 'pursuit of perfection'.
