• Base Face Pizza goes from lockdown delivery to Hammersmith restaurant

  

  Inspired by London's artisan producers, this new Hammersmith pizzeria is serving up pizzas, desserts and even drinks from the local area. 

• The River Cafe expands, stealth-launching Sylvia's, a brand new restaurant

  

  Out of relatively nowhere, London stalwart The River Cafe has decided that now is the time to expand - and they're opening a new restaurant called Sylvia's.

  They're not moving too far away from their own back yard though, as it'll be making use of the old meeting rooms at (River Cafe owner Ruth Rogers husband) Richard Rogers Architects. In an email sent by River Cafe, they say:

• The Prince of Wales Townhouse is a new pub for Hammersmith

  

  The effects of the pandemic haven't been kind to many in the hospitality industry, with pubs and bars being hit particularly hard. So it's pleasing to see something that's bucking the trend - a brand new pub in Hammersmith.

• Sam’s Larder is Hammersmith's hot new deli

  

  Hammersmith folk have a hot new deli. Sam's Larder will open officially on Crisp Road tomorrow as an extension of nearby Sam's Riverside restaurant.

  The shop will stock all the fresh and store cupboard foods the restaurant's kitchen uses, along with wines from the wine list, and ready meals such as fish, chicken and vegetable pies; seasonal casseroles; and rabbit ragù pasta sauce.
