Updated 8/4/16 with opening date and soft launch offer
The current spate of interesting City openings shows no signs of stopping. Next up is Farmer J - an all day spot coming to Leadenhall this summer. Their motto? "We give a fork."
They're promising "wholesome, balanced, but above all tasty, fast food". For breakfast that translates into protein smoothies, pots of paleo granola or bowls of baked shakshuka, along with cold-pressed juices and raw
We're already keenly awaiting the return of Swingers, but now there's news of ANOTHER crazy golf venue coming to the City.
Junkyard Golf (already a big hit in Manchester) will be taking over the Truman Brewery in May. As the name suggests, it's a crazy golf course made up of all sorts of recycled bits and bobs.
The health food trend in London is ever continuing, with a new cold pressed juice bar and healthy food restaurant on the way to St Paul’s. With an Oxford biologist and a London nutritionist (among others) behind the menu, SHOT is making sure its healthy credentials stand up. They’ve even developed a list of guidelines that they intend to really stick to – including ensuring everything is chemical free, has no refined sugars, organic, unprocessed and more besides.
The latest street food to grow roots is Walter and Monty - best known for popping up at Night Tales and more markets across London. Billed as "street food with Michelin expertise", it's from founder Alex Kaye (who's looking after the menu) and with Head Chef Nick Ross who has worked with American chefs Daniel Boulud and Scott Conant (Scarpetta).
As for the food, expect a strong focus on meat and fish
Pitt Cue has grown up and landed in MUCH bigger digs in the City. We head along to see what else has changed.

It's actually pretty amazing that Bob Bob Ricard hadn't expanded to the city before now, but details have been revealed for their plans to open Bob Bob Cité in one of the City's most recognisable new skyscrapers (albeit on a lower floor). And as to be expected from the company that brought us
You may have come across Earl’s Serious Sandwiching at various festivals or markets over the past few years. But now the sarnie street food spot is moving to more permanent quarters in the City.
Situated, incredibly aptly on Crown Place, off Earl St (behind Liverpool Street) the new place is the brainchild of Joe Gray, who trained up with Jamie Oliver's Fifteen and got help from the Prince's Trust in putting his business together.
On the menu in his new city spot
We've been hearing nice things about popular street food CLAW, so hearing that it's coming indoors for the winter with a residency in the City is good news. They'll be starting a one month weekend brunch residency at Fish Market (just opposite Liverpool St Station) serving up all that lovely seafood they've built their reputation on. Dishes you can expect include Crab Burger with handpicked Devonshire crab, samphire and claw sauce and a Lobster BLT made with
Fans of Masterchef: The Professionals better sort out a booking pronto to judge Monica Galetti's latest London pop-up. She'll be putting on a special menu at Searcys The Gherkin in the New Year. For a series of dates between January and February Monica's set lunch and dinner menu will be on offer - which means the normally private members club on floors 39 and 40 will be opening to the public.

Popular Korean restaurant group On The Bab is about to open another place. Their fourth restaurant will be right by St Paul's, but this place will be essentially a takeaway site with a few tables for eat-in.
If you've been to one of their other branches you'll know what to expect here - plenty of KFC (Korean fried chicken) with a choice of two flavours – sweet soy and sweet spicy, both topped with crushed peanuts. There'll also be steamed
Just opened this week, there's a new Zebrano in town - this time they've come to the City, hence their name... Zebrano in the City.
It's certainly a pretty striking room looking at the image above (some of the design is being described as an "explosion of energy") and this latest venue is pretty big too. It's 6000 square feet (i.e. a LOT) and it'll be a combined restaurant bar and club.
Ingredients you'll never have heard of and a dining room that makes you want to linger - we Test Drive the new Modern Pantry in Moorgate
There's a new high-end Indian restaurant on the way to the City, coming from Abdul Yaseen, a chef who has worked over a decade at Cinnamon Club and Cinnamon Kitchen.
It's a banqueting experience, inspired by the Indian Royal Court. They'll include Nawabi Slow Roasted Leg of Lamb, Keralan Shrimp Cocktail and Kid Goat Biryani and 'The Royal Pot' which is also known as Shahi Degh. That's be served in an

And there's more to grab and go too. That'll
Darts has slowly become a very big thing indeed with obsessions growing over various championships. But it's not something that makes much of an appearance in modern bars - and now Flight Club is a whole bar based around the game. It's launching in the same Alphatea building that Modern Pantry just opened in.
The bar itself is being designed by Russell Sage Studios - behind The Zetter, Dishoom and more - and the game
