The Whisky Society opens its first non-member bar in Liverpool Street, where 200 rare single malts will be on offer to the public alongside other liquors, cocktails and more, with food provided by upstairs neighbour Mac & Wild.

Another new bar is heading for the City as the people behind Darbaar are set to open a new bar called Lotus. This was previously part of the restaurant itself and now it'll have a menu of spice-infused spirits and Indian twists on classics. Chef-patron Abdul Yaseen has also created a fresh menu of Royal-inspired dishes to accompany all the new booze.

Originally a hit in Stoke Newington, this is the second Wolf to hit London. Expect aperitivo in the evening, pasta in the afternoon and eat in or takeaway breakfast - which includes fontina wild boar waffles - folk around Liverpool Street will be sorted all day long.

The Gherkin's new pop-up for the summer will be Searcy’s Seaside in the Sky, who'll be serving upmarket versions of classic British food for six weeks.
