• Broadgate Circle is about to completely revitalise City dining

  

  We've been hearing for a while about various restaurants opening up in the new Broadgate Circle which properly opens tomorrow, 15 April. And with this opening upon us, we're really becoming aware of what a big deal it is to City dining. • Yauatcha City brings dim sum and a patisserie to Broadgate Circle

  

  While Alan Yau is just opening a new place next to the original Yauatcha, the Hakkasan group are moving further afield with their next venue, opening on Broadgate Circle (which itself have loads of openings in the next few weeks). So if you're in the City and have a craving for a venison puff (of which we are still massive fans of at Hot Dinners), you won't have far to go.

• Hawksmoor duo to open second Foxlow on Stoke Newington Church Street

  

  Update 9/4/15 - We popped into the soft launch of Foxlow over the weekend. The room looks great, with loads of light getting into both the ground and lower ground rooms. The outside seats (two tables of 4) will definitely be hard to grab as the weather improves (but well worth it) and the same Foxlow menu from Smithfield remains intact. • Camino is bringing their Spanish tapas to Bankside, Southwark

  

  Already popular in King's Cross and Blackfriars, Camino are about to open south of the river in Bankside, which has had a slowly improving restaurant scene over the past year. 

  As with the original Camino, the menu will have tapas and sharing platters and dishes prepared on a plancha grill. Dishes to expect include:

  • Pulpo – pan-roasted whole octopus tentacle, purple potatoes, paprika and olive

• Athenian Grill house Suvlaki is bringing souvlaki to Soho

  OK, now it really IS a trend. Another Greek restaurant is coming to London, this time an "Athenian grill house" called Suvlaki which will be opening in Soho.
