- Dave Ahern to launch new restaurant Wahleeah in Fulham

Dave Ahern - aka CorkGourmetGuy aka BurgerBreakout - is about to open his first restaurant called Wahleeah following a series of successful residencies.
That menu sounds, quite frankly, fantastic and there's a strong focus on beer. It includes:

- Field mushroom braised in Japanese beer & teryaki, wasabi mayo,
- The Old Vic gets a new artisan café, Penny, from the people behind Milk
There are changes afoot at the Old Vic which is getting a bit of a refurb at the moment, and part of that means a change to the Pit Bar next door. It's being revamped into a new all-day cafe to be run by Julian Porter and Lauren Johns - who are behind the very popular Milk (which is going through its own changes at the moment).
