  After a hefty refurbishment, Liberty London has opened Arthur's, who'll be aiming to please the post-work crowd with cocktails, the tourist crowd with afternoon tea, and everyone else with a selection of menu tidbits sourced from their food hall, plus baked goods, brunches and juices galore...

• Broadleaf is coming to Broadgate, from The Botanist team

  Those who work in the Square Mile will most likely be familiar with the ETM Group's style by now - ritzy, brasserie-style dining with a something-for-everyone menu and well dressed wait staff. Now they're making the move to Broadgate with the greenhouse-inspired Broadleaf, bringing a big open plan kitchen, a bar laden with cocktails and shuffleboard.

• Millennial paradise arrives on Curtain Road courtesy of mad new restaurant Rascals

  We’re not sure which bit of Rascals to tell you about first. There’s the waterproof dining room with half off on Champagne, the bottomless pizza, or the Wheel of Misfortune with wooden stocks for the “losers”... plus creative cocktails, a mad menu and a retro dessert trolley for all your tableside flambéing needs.

• Daisy Green are launching two Peter Blake-designed floating restaurants at Paddington Central

  Try something a different with Daisy Green's new pair of enormous barges, who'll be serving up Antipodean dinners, brunches, lunches and cocktails packed loads of fresh, strong flavours, all while floating on one of London's iconic canals.

• Dalston is getting its own Del 74 taqueria

  Since opening in Clapton, this trendy little taqueria has enjoyed a pretty meteoric rise in popularity, so it was only a matter of time before the Del 74 lads branched out. The new Dalston restaurant will provide all the dishes you know and love, plus an extended menu and mezcal bottles for sharing (or shooting) with the rest of the table....

• Niall Davidson is opening Nuala on City Road

  Well done Silicon Roundabout. Not only has the area lured Foley’s to open the new Italian Passo on City Road, but now the same little corner is set to be the home of Niall Davidson’s first restaurant, Nuala, a cosy-sounding sounding affair with lots of inventive riffs on classic countryside cuisine, a central firepit and Irish music to see you through the evening.

• Pickle and Toast finally opens its doors on Wardour Street

  

  One of London's longest-running restaurant sagas finally came to an end last week. For two years, Pickle and Toast has been tormenting Soho folk with an 'Opening Soon' hoarding, promising decent grilled cheese sandwiches. Many figured it was never actually going to open. And then, quietly, with no fanfare at all, it FINALLY opened last week.
